if you’re shooting and you need to track 3d camera movement, it’s nice to have some fixed geometry on set to use a tracking marker.

i had the art department make me a 12″ cube and paint it green (since it will be used on a greenscreen stage), we can then have 3d track their virtual cube on our real cube, to help decode a move.

after the shoot, i felt bad for the box and took it back home from prague. i hand carried on the plane. i got very strange looks from people.
